Dear Editor,
It's always gratifying to hear y'all talk about "the free flow of information," as in your editorial about "Sunshine Week" and "the public's right to know."
Of course you have to say all that with your fingers crossed behind your back, since your only real concern is the public's right to know what you want and will allow them to know.
Yeah, y'all do some good down there, and you uncover some things that need to be uncovered. Therefore – is your disingenuous position – it's okay to fudge on the rest, and to hide and cover up what you don't want people to know.
Very clever, the way you paint yourselves so pretty while you practice the evils of censorship, and are quite resolute in it.Thank you, John Vehon

Portions of the Dallas Morning News editorial to which this is a response:
The title of the editorial: "Your right to hear [the stories they want you to hear] must be protected"
"A free and vigorous press was so important to framers of the Constitution that it shared top billing in Amendment No. 1. It's no less vital today in agitating for change and ripping the curtain back on ugly little secrets [such as Dallas Morning News editorial policies and practices] and monstrous conspiracies..."
"... It's Sunshine Week, the annual observance of the public's right to know [what they want you to know]."
