Result: not printed due to limited spaceDear Editor,
Looking at today's Letters to the Editor (Saturday), here is a fairly lengthy one taking a well-known view on parenting. Another one, also of some length, headed "Two way street", barely makes sense at all after two readings. There was a nice commercial for Dallas in one letter. Then there was a somebody-had-to-say-it joke about Marv Albert compared to Mike Tyson.
There are 3 worthwhile letters in today's section, from Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Cash, and Ms. Quigsley. "Worthwhile" is defined as perspectives, views, and angles on current issues, problems, etc, that have not been heard before by your readers, and which are presented in a reasonable, comprehensible manner. The rest of today's letters are just wasted space (okay, the commercial can stay).
I just wish y'all would not be so wasteful of the very limited space that you grant to us readers.
Thank you, John Vehon
